New Media World
Over the next five years, the advertising industry will change more than over the past fifty! And among the key champions of change are the media. Digitization and data-driven communication brought about new media, and most certainly modernized the old, traditional ones. What are these changes, how they influenced the already diverse media ecosystem, and what is the place of man in all this — the New Media World module will attempt to define all of the above. We will be tackling a new kind of relationship between the media and the human being as the center of everything. If you’re on your way to becoming a “new man” for the new media world, this is just the place for you.
New Hocus Pocus
The Branding module focuses on planned and effective transition of the classic branding model into innovative forms, in the light of global changes that affected the world of advertising, as well. We use different strategies to answer the question: How do we change the previous branding concepts and adapt as smoothly as possible to the great Renaissance of branding values knocking on the door? This module is ideal for those who go to sleep and wake up with branding on their minds. If brands are your passion and their communication a challenge — you really shouldn’t miss out on the DMA Branding module talks.

NEW ERA OF COMMUNICATION
About the academy
Ongoing building on expertise is prerequisite to success. It's the philosophy that served as foothold for launching Direct Media Academy eight years ago. DMA program’s backbone are education sessions taking place over two days, with the participants choosing between two modules — Media and Branding. Another staple component is Festival Day, when Belgrade welcomes world-class experts as its guests.
We’re leveraging our more than two decade's experience in the advertising and communication world to spread knowledge. The modules are designed as a combination of talks and interactive workshops where the participants will be introduced to the latest trends and learn specific mechanisms, tools, and strategies for effective communication in the new age.
If you've been to DMA before, you already know that you will see the most relevant figures at the event — not only from the communications industry, but rather a much broader social context. The reason being that we’re committed to creating a synergy of multidisciplinary qualities, with a view to together developing singular solutions that push the envelope.
Our eternal pursuit for unique solutions must be rooted in the principles of openness and connectivity — just as nature, the universe, the human body, and the mind function. That is why we saw the versatile genius and visionary Leonardo da Vinci as the symbol of the new communication age! Five centuries after his death, the cosmography of the microcosm portrayed in his Vitruvian Man continues to echo that everything is connected.
